Do you know what it feels like in those first few seconds of waking consciousness, when your eyes slit and peel open for the first time after a night of sleep; and in those fleeting milliseconds you are presented with so many pathways?

I will go back to sleep.

I will just lay here and think.

I will get up because I have to. Because I have to.

Oh, my gosh, I can’t wait to get up and…!

For us to do a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g, we must be INSPIRED to do so. We are inspired to make money, to please a partner, to be accepted by a person, a place, or a thing. We are inspired to create, or to recreate. We are inspired, sometimes, to do absolutely nothing.

I say everything we do, everything we are, is a result of what we are inspired to do, what we are inspired to be.

So, what is the case if we are confused about where we are in our life? What is the case if we spend more time satisfying the needs and the wants of those in our immediate surroundings, our home, family, or workplace?

If you find yourself in this state of mind, it’s quite likely you are also experiencing some level of dissatisfaction with yourself as well as the people you are attempting to satisfy, impress, or manage. This includes kids.

If you are hampered by this brand of chaos then you are not inspiring YOURSELF.

You cannot genuinely inspire anything valuable in another person, place, or thing unless you have first inspired yourself. A lasting inspiration.

You’ve lost yourself. You’ve lost your center. What have we been taught to do when we are lost? To a child, we say, “Unless you need to run from danger, if you are lost stay where you are. You will be more easily found.”

This is the same advice we must take in order for our inspiration to find us (again). Stop. Slow down. Review your values. Review what makes you glow – or find out for the first time what truly makes you feel happy or peaceful or content or free from strife.

Stay in one place for an hour, or a day…or longer if need be. Locate what inspires you and let it FIND you and inspire you (again).

Then, put yourself first.

Always make certain the inspiring of YOU comes first. Every minute, every day.

If you do this, you will experience no shortage of energy or willingness to wake and rise out of bed with the “I can’t wait to get up and…!”

And you will feel the weight of trying to satisfy others less and less because the only people, places, and things you will attract are those that inspire YOU.

Be inspired and you will inspire. Inspiration is INVINCIBLE.

It’s EASY.

INVINCIBLE is EASY.
